FILLERS

Fillers can replenish lost or migrated facial fat deposits as well as filling in deep lines and creases.

As we grow older the production of hyaluronic acid starts to diminish. Our skin becomes dry and facial volume decreases. Gravity pulls the skin down resulting in folds and sagging.

A youthful face has round contours, high cheekbones, and a well-defined jawline. There are often smooth curves from the cheeks to the edge of the nose without hollows.

Various materials have been used by facial aesthetic practitioners in the past, from collagen to implants, with varying results. The current material of choice is hyaluronic acid that can be broken down if complications are encountered.

One of the fillers I offer is Juvéderm®. The benefits of using this product over many others are decreased chances of 'lumps and bumps' forming, and prolonged durability of up to 18 months.
